Chapter 12

From Chapter 12 the Pirates of the Dead seas

The Port fellow Tavern was the only bar on the harbour, Knarf took note on how well these people had developed this small area. There was over a hundred or so homes and shacks riddle throughout the caves and amongst the cliffs making it difficult for any wide eyed flying crafts that may pass over to find them. These homes made some kind of small community for its residents. There was even a marketplace where one could trade sell or buy goods. It was a busy place there were people moving around working or boarding small fishing boats everyone seemed to have something to do making Knarf realise how organised these people were. The shallows soldiers though they appreciated the efficiency of this place in such difficult times still did not like or trust the looks of one person that crossed their paths.

They entered what only could be described as the busiest filthiest foul smelling tavern that anyone of them had ever the misfortune of seeing. Though it were a large building the tavern was still way overcrowded, filled with bearded dirty sweating men, most that had scars or mutilated in some way, with fierce looks it was obvious that these men were of the roughest kind. Drinking ale and fighting and feeling up that half naked barmaids while they served drinks, even prostitutes did their business here, as the group entered a few of the black teeth women approached Leron and Knarf.

“A Copper piece or a loaf of bread for a fuck gov, you look wealthy enough, come on I’ll make you nice an warm and you can fondle me all you please, hehe.” She grinned showing her almost all rotten teeth.

“Get out of here” Blackheart roared as he pushed one of the girls to the floor with such force she bowled over two rough men who fell and dropped their mugs. They got to their feet quick to start trouble with whoever had caused this distress but stopped still when they realised it was Blackheart.

“If my guests want women they would have one of my clean girls not you syphilis carrying scum.”

The tavern was silent while Blackheart raised his voice.

“Anymore disturbances from you whores will result in your deaths. Now leave my guests and be gone.”

“Sorry sorry please forgive me” the filthy girl picked herself up and ran off into the crowd of men.

“Barmaid bring some ale for me and my guests and some wild boar, today we will dine like kings.”
