Chapter 7

From chapter 7 The Great Escape

Vlad saw creatures of all kinds in the dungeons as they walked that corridor, Sarron’s, Gnomes, and amazingly locked in a cell and chained to a wall was even a Rock creature, one of the most fearsome races ever made upon this earth. Vlad knew that this creature could not have been easy to catch even for the Elves. Rock creatures were rarely seen these days. They grouped together far away from any being living off what they could but killing any that came near them. They always travelled and moved in groups knowing no one not even the Elves would approach them, as they were wild and dangerous. Even ogre’s who could be twice the size of them thought twice about fighting these creatures if they ever had to face one. Their strength was amazing; Vlad knew it was elfin magic that held this creature to the wall. He must have been a wanderer one of those that sometimes left the pack in search of better soil. These creatures could go months without eating, and although they ate meat and fruit, they also ate good quality soil, it was this that sustained them and what provided enough of what they needed to keep the outer layers of their skin solid rock. The genetic makeup of these creatures was amazing, only Grey technology could have created a creature such as this. Vlad stared at its rocky body; the creature stared back but did not move or make a sound. They were trying to break this creature, put it under their control, and by the looks of it they were almost there.

They put Vlad into an empty cell. When he had entered the wire around his wrist lost its glow and fell away leaving his hands free. He turned as the metal bar cell door slammed shut and the Orcus jailer turned the key.

“Any trouble from you and we will put those back on”

The Orcus pointed towards the wire before he and the Elves walked back down the corridor of cells to the entrance. Vlad sat down in the rat infested cell on rotten hay that smelt as if many beings had urinated on it. This place was a germ infested trap, and he sooner be hanged then to spend much time in this cell. The smell of the place made him gag; he was sure that if he had much in his stomach it would have been wrenched from his belly through his mouth and onto the cell floor by now. The rock creatures cell was only a few yards away from his, Vlad looked around at the cruelty this creature had done here as the dungeon keeper. He then promised himself that the first chance he gets he will kill the dungeon keeper and make it pay for what it had done.
